The work does not cover source code debugging and wiring patch code for the bundled software that come with the Linux distribution because this job is usually provided by the Linux distribution company via subscription basis such as Red Hat and Novell.

Without proper software subscription, you will not be alerted on the latest software updates applicable to your servers. Those updates may contain security updates that need to be applied urgently.
